| RAFTING |
Rafting requires moderate upper body strength, good balance and the ability to work as a team. It is likely that some people will fall out of the raft, and it is possible that participants will get bruised, swallow some river water and generally get tossed about. This is part of the fun of rafting. Your raft guide will brief you on safety procedures, but you should be aware before committing to a raft trip that it is not unusual for people to fall out of the raft and sustain minor injuries, bruises, bumps, scrapes, blisters.etc.
For the river you will need:
Clothing that can get really wet.
Footwear that have closed toes and rubber or cork soles. (Tennis shoes are your best bet).
No blue jeans or heavy pants/sweatshirts on the raft; if you want to wear pants be sure that they are light weight, designed for river wear, and dry very quickly.
You will be wearing a protective helmet, so no sunglasses.
Don’t forget the sunscreen—even if it is cloudy you will get a serious burn!
No sunscreen above the cheeks unless it is “baby face” for kids because it will get in your eyes and it stings.

| CLIMBING, RAPPELLING, AND CANYONING |
Shorts, t-shirts, strong shoes (we have the helmets, harnesses, ropes, experienced guides, etc.)
In the jungle the climbing is in the trees, and insect repellent is greatly needed.
Again shoes that can get wet, tennis shoes are strongly recommended for your entire trip.
Tree climbing often puts you face to face with animals that you are unlikely to encounter in your own backyard. So, if you are prone to panic, please let us know.
Your guide uses a double system of equipment for climbing and rappel activities, but nothing works better than paying attention to your guide.
Note that all of the tour guides that Sr.Frogs uses go through intense training and are very responsible. Your safety comes first.

Depending on the tour, sometimes it can get pretty cool. Especially if we are up in the mountains. We recommend you also bring a set of warm-ups, sweater and even a lightweight jacket.
